This album is a tour de force of a duo that defies description. Each musician brings their own rich experience in fields as diverse as early music, new music, tango, and mainstream classical chamber music, and in their partnership, it is clear that theyhave given themselves and each other permission to do anything. The result is a perfect balance of wildness, intelligence, and depth. Two of the works on this album are world premieres, written specially for the duo.
